Groomsman Gifts

Traditional gifts for the groomsmen include money clips, barware (including wine accessories, wine glasses, pint glasses, shot glasses, and cocktail shakers), flasks, and the like. Some more modern twists include sportswear or sports gear, such as pennants and bats. Because the groom and his groomsmen usually have similar interests, it is often a good idea to give "gifts for him" that they will be able to use during their favorite pastimes. Great examples include gifts such as golf gear or paintball accessories. Tool kits are also a great idea for the groomsmen. In all cases, a terrific extra touch is to personalize the gifts by adding an engraving.

Bridesmaid Gifts

There really are only two major categories when it comes to gifts for bridesmaids; carrying bags and jewelry. These two kinds of gifts have never gone out of style (and likely will never). Today they are very much traditional. In fact, the most popular choices can be narrowed still further; most brides will give their attendants tote bags or earrings. Cosmetic bags and necklaces have been consistantly popular as well. Put some thought into it, you're honoring some of the most important people in your life so picking just the right "gifts for her" is important. Becoming more popular lately are personalized jewelry boxes. The jewelry might carry special significance as it is often selected to go with the bridesmaid's dresses and worn on the wedding day. The tote bags or cosmetic bags can also come in handy for all of the last minute preparations on the big day.

Affordable Wedding Favors

One of the best ways to make your favors unique is to have them personalized or engraved with the couple's names and wedding date. The cool thing about wedding favors is that they can be anything from a candle to candy to coasters -- you can really be creative, and many of these gift items can be engraved or embossed. Cheap wedding stuff is not difficult to find if you know where to look, and can be extremely affordable. Chocolates continue to be a very popular wedding favor, with the original twist coming in the way the chocolates are packaged. Packaging continues to be the way most wedding favors convey their own originality, whether you're using small bags or gift boxes to "wrap" the gifts. Miniature items to consider include sets of teaspoons, tiny monogrammed bottles of champagne, paper weights, and coaster. Some couple may also choose to use small cameras as favors, so that the guests have a gift and can also contribute to the memories!

Themed Gifts

Some people are extremely passionate about their hobbies. Luckily, this makes it a whole lot easier to find them a gift they'll really appreciate. Have a friend who is an avid golfer? Golf gifts are plentiful and you'll find something just perfect in no time at all. No matter the passtime, there is probably a good selection of gifts tailored just for people who love it. Know a wine lover? You'd be surprised how creative you can be with wine gifts. If you know a person's passion it's a piece of cake to find them gifts that just just can't go wrong.
