How Professional Home Decorators Hang Wall Hangings

If you just bought a tapestry for your wall decor, you might know how complicated and problematic it can be to show off a lined tapestry wall hanging sufficiently.  Unlike posters or a framed piece of art, tapestries for home decor can be very strenuous to get to perfection.  As luck would have it, there are some expert widely used rules that you can stick to to make your home decor style look as adept as it can look.

First, consider what fixtures you would like to assemble to display your wall tapestries.  The most popular method is employing a tapestry hanging rod.  Medieval or modern tapestry rods are favoured more than curtain rods because the tapestry rods are thicker and will not buckle.  When searching for a rod, look for one that has convenient to hang up brackets.  Make sure that your brackets will hold your artistic tapestry hanging away from the wall a minimum of 1 to 2 inches.  This will maintain the air circulating behind your home decor tapestry, so condensation will not become collected and harm the cloth.  Search for a wall hanging rod with an aged finish-it will add prestige and refinement to your home decor style.

Second, take a look at your area.  Where should you show off the tapestry?  How much space should you save surrounding the wall tapestry?  Here are some universal rationales that could facilitate.

If you have a really tall and limited perpendicular tapestry wall hanging equal to our Narrow tapestries and wall decor, you had better present it on a wall that is tall and thin, but be sure there is enough space around it to stop your wall from appearing unprofessional.  This might impede the tapestry from being microscopic and trivial.

If you have a oversize tapestry, it works best to display it on a wall with nothing else.  You don't want to crowd the majesty or bewilder a admirer's attention with other works.  Huge tapestry wall hangings can turn your 'last into a castle, treat them with care and courtesy.

Perhaps you invested in two small sized tapestries, but only own one rod-don't fret, you can make this work.  You can place two long and thin tapestries beside on another on one tapestry rod, just remember to allow a minimum 3 to 6 inches in between them if you want the idea of distance.  Please note that this will work only with tall narrow tapestries and wall decor like our Art Nouveau While You Were Out Set.  Anything larger than this is bound to look overcrowded and unrefined, so try your damnedest to measure everything out decorously.

You could concievably need a uncommon rod if your wall tapestry is excessively enormous and cumbersome or if your home decor tapestry is unlined and dainty.  For immense tapestries and wall decor over 80 to 100 inches, you should judge a wall tapestry rod that is a bare minimum of one half inch broad.  This will head off the rod from straining in the center.  If you bought a tapestry made from chenille fabric, you might want to look at either a slender rod or a wood rod.  If the rod is too broad in relation to the tapestry, it will appear oppressive and neglicted.
