The alphabet is one of the first things you need to learn when studying Spanish. Even though Spanish also employs the Greek alphabet, each letter is pronounced differently and makes different sounds when used. For example, the letter "j" is not pronounced "jay" - it's "jota!" with an "h" sound at the beginning! Once you know the Spanish alphabet, you will have an easier time pronouncing all of your new vocabulary words!
