Bamberg is one of the few cities that survived bombing by the Allied forces in World War 2, so Bamberg is among the few cities which retains its original beauty. Its located on River Regnitz in Bavaria. It's a city with beautiful square, amazing palaces and a wonderful cathedral. Bamberg is included in UNESCO World Heritage Site List.

If you want to visit some place romantic then "Klein Venedig" should be your next stop. Little Venice in English, was the fishing town of Bamberg located on the eastern side of Regnitz with a number of old timbered houses. Opposite of Romantic would be Amorous, if you are not feeling romantic then "Michaelsberg" is the place for you. It is a monastery situated on a top of hill where you a museum which contains plastered dummies. However, Michaelsberg is currently being used as a senior home.
Finally we can call off your tour by visiting the last to places. "Neue Residenz", it was the home to the price-bishops and it contains 40 furnished rooms which are opened for tourists. It also includes a Rose garden from where you can have a good view of the Cathedral. Talking about Gardens, there is also one more place for the gardens it's the "Seehof Palace Gardens" whose gardens where used to be very famous in the 18th century throughout Germany.
