Venezuela is located on the northern tropical Caribbean coast of South America. It borders Brazil to the south, Guyana to the east, and Colombia to the west while the islands of Aruba, the Netherlands Antilles, and Trinidad and Tobago border its northern coast.

Venezuela is a country that is home to a wide variety of landscapes. In fact, when Christopher Columbus arrived on the Venezuelan coast in 1498, he was so enthralled that he referred to it as "Tierra de Gracia" or the "Land of Grace." Even today, the country is popularly referred to by this name.

We saved the best short study abroad film of this series for last! Over the past few weeks, you saw Rick moving and learning on his journey around the world, but surely he and his crew had to sit and enjoy a meal here and there. After all - food is one of the richest and most unique features of different places around the world. Last week, we introduced you to Rick Mereki's "MOVE", the first of three short films exploring critical themes of the language immersion experience. "Move" took us on a trip down the roads and alleyways of foreign places, and his second of this series, "LEARN" is no less mesmerizing and vibrant.

Here, we follow Rick and friends through a series of lessons across the world. Other cultures have so much to offer, whether we're cooking, sampling wine, dancing, or rock-climbing!

Mark Adams is a former National Geographic editor and author of new book, Turn Right at Machu Picchu. The novel explores the history and "rediscovery" of this Incan archaeological site, as well as the controversy surrounding its documentation and exploration.
