The history and architecture alone are enough to keep even the most demanding traveler satisfied. If you are going to study in Moscow, make sure to bundle up, as the average daily temperature is less than 42 degrees Fahrenheit! St. Petersburg is known as the most Western city in Russia, and is the country's second largest city after Moscow. Located on the Baltic Sea, St. Petersburg has a lively cultural scene of art, music, literature, and sports.
