Barcelona is the second-larget city in Spain, is located on the Mediterranean coast. Students who travel to Barcelona will delight in the entertainment, art, achitecture, and museums available in this lively city. Spanish programs in Barcelona have a diverse mix of students, activities and culture lessons, and are close to beaches and ski areas.
Madrid, also a very cosmopolitan city, is the capital of Spain and is located pretty much in the center of the country. This makes it an excellent "hub" for travel throughout Spain. Many include organized activites, and an Intercambio program, which pairs English-speaking students with Spaniards so they can take turns conversing in each other's language.
