Granted, these are not Spain's best, most interesting, or longest pistes, but just the fact that it's so close to Madrid makes it an interesting day or weekend-trip for people staying in Madrid in the winter. It's very easy to reach, you just take a 'Cercania' (Regional Rail) or bus from Madrid for a couple of Euros and you're there in under an hour. It's also a very beautiful area for hiking in the Summer.
